  NPFL Matchday 17 Roundup: Kwara United Shock MFM FC  As Remo Stars Wallop Sunshine Stars   Sampson Adedeji   Kwara United shocked MFM FC 1-2 at their backyard in Lagos to close the points behind the League leaders on the NPFL table, BSNsports.com.ng can report.   It was former league top scorer Junior Lokosa that opened the scoring in the 5th minute before in-form Alao Danbani doubled the lead 5 minutes later.   Elijah Akanni halved the deficit for the Olukoya Boys in the 17th minute but that was not enough for them to secure any point from the game.   Abubakar Aliyu netted the only goal of the game as Wikki Tourists defeated Lobi Stars in Bauchi.   In Jos, Plateau United have to wait until the 90th minute before they could seal the full point against Katsina United, Buhari Ibrahim scored the only goal in the dying minute of the game.   Remo Stars walloped visiting Sunshine Stars 3-0 in Ikenne with goals from Seun Aderibigbe in the 40th minutes, Andy Okpe scored his brace in the  70th and 87th minutes.   I  Katsina, the ney adopted home of Kano Pillars, the Sai Masu Gida picked the maximum three points over visiting Nasarawa United with a 2-0 win.   Mark Daniel opened the scoring in the first minutes before Ifeanyi Eze sealed the game in the 41st minute.   Goals from Joseph Onoja in the 8th and 25th minutes ensured that league leader Rivers United defeated Shooting Stars 2-0 at the Adoke Amasiamaka stadium.   Elsewhere, Champions, Akwa United secured a valuable away point against Abia Warriors in Okigwe.   Dakkada FC handed Enyimba international a 2-0 defeat at the Goodswill Akpabio stadium in Uyo.   Edidong Ezekiel opened the scoring in the 6th minute while Aniekan Ekpe added the second goal in the 39th minute from the penalty spot.   After matchday 17, Rivers United maintained their position on top of the table with 38 points and are closely followed by Plateau United with 37 points.     At the other side of the table, MFM FC remained first from the rear and Katsina United dropped to 19th position while Shooting Stars dropped 13th position with 20 points in 17 games.
